Ash vs Evil Dead – S02E02

Jamie and Shawn try to recap what might be the most disgusting/horrifying episode in television history. Was it really that bad? Listen to what they have to say.

The Morgue Recap

Brock and Ash agree to stay out of each other’s way until Ash’s business in his hometown is concluded. While in Ash’s bedroom (which hasn’t been touched since Reagan was President), the group decides that Kelly and Ash will retrieve the Necronomicon while Pablo stays with Ruby to get some answers. Pablo’s grasp on reality is tested when Ruby reveals that the Necronomicon has gifted him with premonitions, a revelation that leads Ruby to believe her ex, Baal, is the reason why all of her children have turned on her.

Meanwhile, in the town morgue, Ash and Kelly discover Brock’s date, Ash’s old high school P.E. teacher, might not be the warm body he’s banking on. Ash’s old conquest is now a full-on Deadite and ready to mack on Ash’s father. Before they can go and rescue Pablo, Brock, and Ruby, our favorite chainsaw wielding hero must confront the most challenging monster he has ever known.

As Ash faces his foul opponent, Kelly has a run-in with the Sheriff and it appears her violent tendencies are starting to extend past demon hunting. With the Necronomicon in hand, Ash and Kelly head home, only to be heckled by some young punks. Having put them in their place, Ash and Kelly celebrate their meaningless victory and head to the house to rescue the rest of the group.
